About

Paula Schneider

I am the owner of Chasing Tails, and I have been training people and their dogs in the Kelowna area for 5 years. During this time, I have continued to learn about dog behaviour and effective training techniques that are successfully improving the lives of both canines and their guardians.

As a result, my training methods can be adaptable to a variety of temperaments, such the reactive dog, the high energy dog, the shy dog, and the medium energy lap dog.

My training philosophy is to have  fair and reasonable expectations of the dog, build on those expectations through practice, and to ensure clear and precise communication with your dog. You will learn how to work with your dog in a way that promotes understanding and builds a lifelong partnership.

I believe training should be fun for you and your dog. If your dog is enjoying the activity, then he is more likely to learn better, stay focused longer, and form a stronger and deeper bond with his family. You will then be able to enjoy taking your dog out with you to public places where he will display impeccable manners.

I encourage family members to be involved so that every one can support the dog’s learning process.

Please feel free to contact me for more information on upcoming classes.
