About a year ago we got our dog from a rescue foundation and quickly discovered he had aggression issues with other dogs.  We researched the different trainers around town and really liked Paula because of her approach with dogs and that she has two rescues.  She gave us the tools we need to feel comfortable when we’re around other dogs. Paula is still a huge support even after the sessions had ended and we look forward to future sessions. We are happy to have found Paula and can’t say enough on how she has helped our dog and our family.

Paula was hired to walk and train our puppy twice a week. With her extensive knowledge with a mixture of nurture and discipline have made Diesel into an outstanding dog and a pleasure to walk.

We would highly recommend Paula and Chasing Tails Puppy Training. We enrolled in her puppy training class and it was a great experience for both my children and ourselves. She is very patient and included the children in the training process. She also came to our home to help us with the issues of our older dog and showed us how to start training our puppy at home. We saw a great improvement in our puppy at the end of the sessions. We will continue to call on Paula to help us with issues in the future.

I think that Misty is a much better dog, now that she has been to your classes. She listens to commands and does what she is told (for the most part! she is just too nosy sometimes, and then she “forgets”) I appreciate the hard work and dedication Paula has for the dogs, and the situations that the owners are in with their dogs. Paula takes the time to ask questions, to see what the dog does and how the owner acts, and then works with the owner and the dog to find a solution. The training is fun!! Thanks Paula. I will continue to recommend you and your one-on-one classes as well as the group lessons.

Our 4 year old Weimaraner gets one hour hikes with Paula. When we come home that day, after he has been hiked he is very relaxed, more so than on other days, even when we take him. He seems so content in having had a fun a “guys-day” with his canine buds. We know he enjoys and benefits from Paula’s great energy, because when he sees her, even if we, and all his dog-mates are around, we all disappear. He loves Paula! We notice Paula sees through dog-symptoms and people-behavior and really simplifies dog “training”. It becomes less about “training” and working more with dog-smarts. It really becomes simple if we overthink it, and Paula has a common-sense approach to training.
